    Nansha Qingsheng project team went to Chengdu Tianfu New District for investigation and research

    On July 6, 2019, China Railway Second Hospital (Guangdong) Port and Air Survey and Design Co., Ltd. organized a group of youth commandos from Qingsheng project team to conduct a concentrated investigation and research on Chengdu Tianfu New District. The survey was led by Wang Xiaojun, deputy manager of the infrastructure project department of Guangzhou Nansha New District and deputy director of the operation department of the port and shipping company. He led a total of 5 professionals in the hydraulic engineering and technical backbone.

    The research team successively inspected the Luxi River ecological scenic spot, the Xinglong Lake and the upstream and downstream flood discharge channels in Chengdu, and communicated with the Gaoge designers involved in the project. Gaoge Company detailed the design process and application of sponge city and ecological wetland in the visiting project.
    Luxi River Ecological Zone is located in the core area of Chengdu Tianfu New District, directly adjacent to Tianfu Business District in the north and Chengdu Science City in the south. The ecological wet area covers an area of 2,500 mu, the rural landscape area is about 1,300 mu, and the water area is about 415 mu. The Tianfu New District is an important ecological corridor developed from north to south and organized by the group. Among them, the water retention capacity of the whole lake area reaches 1.05 million m3 (excluding spillway), and the catchment area of the rain collection area is 360,000 m2. The project started in December 2015 and was completed in February 2017. It was highly praised by the owners and leaders of all walks of life. The project was listed as a permanent visit reception point for the Tianfu New District Wetland Landscape Project.

    Luxi River

    Xinglong Lake is located in the center of Chengdu Science City. With the concept of “Hushan Mountain Painting and Smart Life”, it fully studies the relationship between the space around the lake and the industry and transportation, and creates an eco-city center water environment that matches the Chengdu Science City. The lake covers an area of 6,400 mu, including 174 mu of landscape green area, 4300 mu of water area, 2500 meters long from east to west, 600-1700 meters wide from north to south, with a water volume of 6.4 million cubic meters and an average water depth of 2 meters. The investment is 4.86 billion yuan. In order to ensure the safety of the water in Xinglong Lake and Lake District, a blue ecological lake with European standards is constructed, and the water quality is maintained through the ecosystem for a long time. The coverage of submerged plants at the bottom of the lake reaches 50%, ensuring that the lake area is clear and the water bodies in the lake area reach the surface three. Water-like standards, rich biodiversity, etc.

    After the meeting, the investigation team and the China Railway Second Institute Environmental Engineering Research Institute exchanged in-depth views on water environment management and water ecological construction programs, laying a solid foundation for the preliminary design of the water sector of the Nansha project and the continued good cooperation between the two parties.

    The survey combined with the planning and positioning of the green ecology of the Guangzhou Qingsheng project undertaken by our institute, and strengthened the intuitive understanding of the design of the water sector by interceptors, dredging, live resources, ecological restoration, and bank protection, and implemented them in depth. The sponge city construction concept will contribute to the promotion of the Qingsheng Hub Block Comprehensive Development Project (Qingsheng Science and Technology Education Core Area Project).
