Venezuela Palua port expansion project is located in Bolivar state, Pureto pradz city, which  belongs to FMO iron ore company( a subcompany of CVG group). Currently, there is only one 800,000DWT loading berth  in Palua port, the operation time is more than 50 years and throughput capacity is only 3,500,000 tons / year. With the increase of export demand, the port need install new unloading, storage, reclaiming and loading system to improve the throughput capacity to 7,200,000 tons/year.The total investment is $115million.

The expansion and reconstruction according to the actual situation of the scene, under the precondition of not increasing a large amount of investment, in the basis of the original port facilities for design and transformation. Main renovation contents include: new train unloading hopper, feeder, unloading hopper to the terminal of the conveyor system, 48 inches of belt conveyor system, 54 inches belt machine system, the conversion of real (including straight to the funnel and dust removal system), a pile of feeding machine, a reclaimer, a newly installed ship machine and a capacity for 16 million tons of ore stacking yard, including geological survey and measurement, environmental assessment, wharf structure detection and evaluation, dust removal system, and power supply and control, water supply, drainage, fire protection, environmental protection and other.
